Under: indie ant adventure game
Under is an ant puzzle-adventure game: play solo or co-op, and use your powers wisely to bring your offspring back to your queen! Available on PC, Mac and Linux.
It is the first game of Kugle Corp, made while we were still students. It started as a Global Game Jam 2017 project; the result was fun and intuitive, so I decided to continue the adventure for a year.
What I did
Project lead & programmer · team of 5- Led the team that formed around the project: a 2D graphic designer, a 3D artist / level designer, a level designer and a game designer
- Programmed the game in Unity & C#: 3C, micro and macro gameplay
- Built a co-op campaign and a versus mode
- Integrated Wwise audio, and Unity Analytics with heatmaps to tune the levels
The game
You are an ant on your first day at the cloning center. Too curious, you break the portals: now you travel to every anthill to bring the lost eggs back to the queen.
